Trump To Sign “Religious Liberty” Executive Order

DONALD TRUMP, OUR PRESIDENT IT
IS NOW ALMOST CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SIGNING AN
EXECUTIVE ORDER ON RELIGIOUS LIBERTY AT THE WHITE HOUSE ON
THURSDAY. 2 SENIOR ADMINISTRATION
OFFICIALS HAVE CONFIRMED THE PLAN BUT NOT THAT IT IS
HAPPENING TOMORROW AS AN EXECUTIVE ORDER BUT PRETTY MUCH
IT HAS BEEN INDICATED THAT WAY AND OF COURSE OUR VICE
PRESIDENT, THIS IS SOMETHING HE IS REALLY PASSIONATE ABOUT SO HE
IS SAID TO BE THE DESIGNER OF THE EXECUTIVE ORDER THAT WOULD
BE ON RELIGIOUS LIBERTY. SO WHAT IS THIS DRAFT ARE HERE
WHAT’S IN IT? IT’S BEING KEPT VERY CLOSE. NO ONE REALLY KNOWS WHAT’S IN IT
BUT SOME SOURCES SAY THAT THE DRAFT HAD ALSO PROTECTED THE
TAX-EXEMPT STATUS OF ANY RELIGIOUS ENTITY THAT BELIEVES,
SPEAKS, OR ACTS OR DECLINES TO ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
BELIEF THAT MARRIAGE IS OR SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED AS THE
UNION OF ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN. OTHER PROBLEMATIC FEATURES
WERE THAT THE BELIEVED AN INDIVIDUAL’S IMMUTABLE
BIOLOGICAL SEX IS OBJECTIVELY DETERMINED BY
ANATOMY AND THAT HUMAN LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION AND MERITS
PROTECTION AT ALL STAGES OF LIFE FOR COVERED UNDER THE
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM ORDER. THE EXECUTIVE ORDER WOULD ALSO
ESTABLISH A NEW BUREAU TO PROTECT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM WITHIN
THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. JEFF SESSIONS, JUSTICE
DEPARTMENT. IT’S ALL COMING TOGETHER NOW. FINALLY SOMEONE IS STANDING
UP FOR THE CHRISTIANS IN THIS COUNTRY AND IT’S ABOUT TIME
SOMEONE LET SOMEONE ELSE DISCRIMINATE IN THE RELIGION
THAT IS MADE UP. EVEN THOUGH WE ARE SECULAR
SOCIETY AND WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE DIVISION OF CHURCH AND
STATE, WE NORMALLY HAVE THAN AMERICA AND I THINK IT’S
GREAT. THE ACLU DOES NOT THINK IT’S
GREAT THAT THEY TWEETED OUT IF PRESIDENT TRUMP SIGNS IN
ORDER THAT WOULD ALLOW RELIGION TO BE USED AS AN EXCUSE
TO DISCRIMINATE, WE WILL SUE. HASHTAG SEE YOU IN COURT AGAIN. THEY’RE GETTING SNARKY THERE. THE PRECISE WORDING OF THIS
ORDER IS GOING TO BE REALLY IMPORTANT AND WE DON’T HAVE THAT
YET WE DON’T EVEN REALLY KNOW IF IT’S GOING TO BE COMING OUT
TOMORROW BUT IT IS REALLY SORT OF, IT’S A COMPLETED SUBJECT. THE ACLU IN CERTAIN INSTANCES
HAS COME DOWN ON THE SIDE OF PEOPLE WHO FEEL LIKE THE
GOVERNMENT IS INFRINGING ON THEIR ABILITY TO FREELY PRACTICE
THEIR RELIGION OR THAT THEY ARE GETTING UNDO IMPOSITION FROM
STATE AUTHORITIES AND THEORETICALLY SOMETHING ALONG
THESE LINES COULD REASONABLY ADDRESS THE CONCERNS OF PEOPLE
LIKE THAT WHO DO REALLY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE BEING ENCOURAGED
UPON BY THE STATE BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT SEEMS THAT WHAT IS
RAY LIKELY TO HAPPEN IF AN ORDER WITH THE WORDING THAT WE
CURRENTLY HAVE WERE TO BE ISSUED IS THAT IT WOULD BE USED
AS A COVER TO BASICALLY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST LGBT
PEOPLE AND IT WOULD BE USED TO CIRCUMVENT LAWS WITH WHICH
ACTUALLY PROTECT LB GT PEOPLE. I THINK THERE’S A WAY TO ADDRESS
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY CONCERNS WHICH A LOT OF PEOPLE DO HAVE FOR SOME
LEGITIMATE REASONS WITHOUT FEARING INTO THE TERRITORY OF WE
NEED TO JUST THROW A BONE TO CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES WHO
FEEL LIKE THEIR VIEWS ON SEXUALITY ISSUES AND SO FORTH
SHOULD BE ENSHRINED IN SECULAR LAW WHICH IS NOT TRUE WHAT WOULD BE ONE OF THE
LEGITIMATE REASONS, YOU SAID SOME OF THE LEGITIMATE REASONS
FOR THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT TO WANTED DISCRIMINATE AGAINST LGBT
WHAT WOULD BE SOME OF THOSE? I’M SAYING RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
CONCERNS OVER ALL THERE ARE SOME LEGITIMATE CONCERNS DIET
DEPENDS ON SPECIFIC EXAMPLES. OH THINK THERE’S EVER A
LEGITIMATE REASON TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST LGBT PEOPLE
BUT FOR EXAMPLE, THERE WAS A SUIT THAT CATHOLIC NUNS HAD
INITIATED AGAINST OBAMA CARE BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T WANT TO
BE REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED CONTRACEPTION. I THINK IT’S JUST A MUDDLED, IS
A HAZY ISSUE AND THIS WOULDN’T BE THE RIGHT APPROACH TO ADDRESS
IT, THAT’S FOR SURE BUT I TRIED TO WARN PROGRESSIVES AND
LEFTISTS NOT TO BE OVERLY DISMISSIVE OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE
SINCERELY HELD RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND FEEL LIKE THEY ARE BEING
ENCROACHED UPON BY THE STATE. DON’T JUST DISMISS OUT OF HAND. I THINK THERE’S SOME WAY TO
FORGE A CONSENSUS ON THOSE ISSUES THAT DOESN’T ALLOW FOR
DISCRIMINATION BUT ALSO DOESN’T UNDULY BURDEN PEOPLE WHO
JUST WANT TO PRACTICE THEIR BELIEFS AND PRIVATE. THINK THE DANGER IS A
BECOMES A VEHICLE’S EVEN WITH A CATHOLIC NUN SITUATION YOU HAVE
CATHOLIC HOSPITALS AND I WILL USE AN EXAMPLE IN PHOENIX. OF ALL PEOPLE TO GO UP AGAINST
THIS CINDY MCCAIN, SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN’S WIFE WAS AGAINST THE
CATHOLIC CHURCHES, THEY WERE NOT GOING TO BE CONDUCTING ABORTIONS
AND SHE, EVEN IF IT WAS IN THE CASE OF RAPE, INCEST OR A WOMAN
WHO HAD ISSUES DURING HER CHILDBIRTH THEY WERE LIKE NO,
WE’RE NOT GOING TO DO IT AND SHOW SHE WENT FORWARD AND
SAID YOU CAN’T DO THIS, THIS IS THE ONLY HOSPITAL IN
MILES FOR MANY PEOPLE BECAUSE IT WAS IN WEST PHOENIX. THIS IS JUST ONE CASE AND THEY
SAID IT’S A RELIGIOUS ISSUE BECAUSE WE ARE A CATHOLIC
HOSPITAL. YOU ARE THE ONLY HOSPITAL WITHIN
15 MILES SO WHAT IS THE WOMAN
SUPPOSED TO DO? DIE? AND CINDY MCCAIN STEPPED UP AND
SHE FOUGHT BY AND SHE WON THE SITUATION SO I THINK IT BECOMES
A VEHICLE, TOOL FOR POLITICAL AGENDA IN ARIZONA PARTICULAR,
IT’S NOT A CATHOLIC STATE BUT IS A CONSERVATIVE STATE AND
IT IS A SLIPPERY SLOPE. IT DEFINITELY CAN BECOME A
VEHICLE FOR THAT BUT I’M JUST SAYING IN PRINCIPLE THERE ARE
WAYS TO PROTECT RELIGIOUS LIBERTY THAT DON’T NECESSARILY
HAVE TO BECOME A VEHICLE TO ENABLE DISCRIMINATION DIE THINK
IT’S WORTH MAKING A DISTINCTION THERE RATHER THAN JUST
DISMISSING OUT RIGHT THE NOTION THAT CERTAIN PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT
THEIR RELIGIOUS LIBERTIES ARE BEING INFRINGED UPON DIDO THINK
THIS ORDER WOULD BE THE BEST WAY TO ADDRESS IT BY ANY STRETCH BUT
IN TERMS OF THE PRINCIPLE OF THE MATTER, THERE IS SOMETHING THERE
THAT PEOPLE ON THE LEFT SHOULD HAVE LEGITIMATE REASON TO BE NOT
DISMISSIVE OF. I HEAR WHAT YOU ARE SAYING
BUT AS A NIGHTCLUB COMEDIAN OF 30 YEARS, MY SHOCK AND TRADE WAS
MOCKING THE RELIGIOUS. JUST A NOTE THAT I’M IN FAVOR OF MOCKING THEIR
RELIGIOUS TIMEOUT EASTER AND I SPENT PROBABLY THE FULL
DAY TAKING JUST INCREDIBLE CONDEMNATIONS THAT I HATE THAT MONEY TO DON WITH
YOU. I COLLEGE IS A RESURRECTION
DAY.

  1. Christians seriously need to reform because it was never their job to reject, mock, judge, or condemn the "sinners" according to Jesus Christ. They toss that whole bit about loving thy neighbor into the garbage. "Judge not, lest ye be judged."

  2. Being that busy with shit explains why he does not have any time for the import things.
Maybe one way to get some of jobs back from the mass he has already destroyed.

When will this country stop crying over that subject and grow up and act like human beings and take responsibility.

  3. A person's 1st Amendment Rights do not Trump someone else's 14th Amendment rights and in order to have freedom of religion or personal beliefs, one must also have freedom from religion and someone else's personal beliefs.

I really wish people like Pence, Trump, Ryan, and anyone else who is against gay marriage, abortion, transgenders, etc, would realize this as it is clearly stated in the Constitution of the United States of America.

  4. It's nice to see at least one person at TYT that pushes back a little on the constant narrative. I'm sure he won't be there long.

  5. A religious bureau huh? Sounds a lot like Sharia Law but for Christians to me. Is this not something the founding fathers wanted otherwise they would not have created the 1st amendment.

  6. So so so sooooooooo unconstitutional. This administration does NOT believe in 85% of our constitution. SAD!

  7. What bullshit! GOP couldn't stand the number of EOs Obama signed to help move the country forward but have no problem with the number of EOs Trump is signing that is moving us backwards. WTH!

  8. This is ridiculous. How can those that support the rights of one become so adamant that the rights of another should not be protected as well. Religions have just as much right to practice as Gays and Lesbians have to choose their lovers. If a church doesn't want to conduct a marriage that contradicts their beliefs they shouldn't have to and the hospital funded by a particular religious group should not be forced to provide services contrary to their beliefs. It's the same as the bathroom argument: If a dude who thinks he's a woman wants to use the women's bathroom (and he is presenting himself as female) there shouldn't be an issue. We can't have it both ways. The government needs to stop trying to regulate every little thing and allow people and groups to live. If you live in a place with only one hospital contact your governing officials and have another built that provides the services you can't get in the one that is owned and operated by a faith based organization. All this infringing is insane. Just let people be, do and live as they see fit. It's becoming annoying that we're creating policy based on rhetoric. Policy should be based on action not ideology. If I eat meat and you are hungry but are a vegan and you come to my house for dinner you can either have the salad and shut up about the fact that everyone else is eating steak or go eat somewhere else! Government is really overstepping in every direction and this nonsense has to stop.

  9. Who is this republican mole sitting in between Jimmy and Nomiki? That guy is a DOUBLE AGENT!

  10. It's not appropriate to use government to force your beliefs on others. Christians who want to create a theocracy are a major threat to peace, stability and rule or law. They are selfish, controlling assholes who have no respect for the right of others to chose for themselves how to live.

  11. Gays can no longer force people to bake them a cake? Thats just wrong. Gays need cakes and only Christians can bake those cakes.

  12. The guy in the middle… what is he doing in TYT? When Nomiki pointed out the case in Phoenix he should shot his mouth or recognize she made the point

  13. I was so afraid of being a Christian that I haven't gone to church in several years because of the intense persecution.  I even pretended to be an atheist to escape the intense persecution Christians face ever day.  Thanks be to almighty Trump for saving Jesus!

  14. I don't understand how ppl say laws regarding religion shouldn't even be in existence. The 1st amendment seems to mention religion too and we cool with that

  15. yeah, like this will apply to all religions. let Muslims try some shit like this and they will shut it down quick.

  16. Christianity Islam religion in general needs to go the way of the dodo it's just in the way of human progress now more than ever

  17. Who is the stupid fucker in the middle? Why should we not dismiss opinions that have no basis in fact?

  18. The problem with the argument about the nuns is that the nuns weren't being ordered to take contraceptives. They were taking away somebody else's right to take contraceptives.

  19. and there's not even a paragraph in the bible, which says homosexuality should be forbidden or that abortion should be illegal or the insane notion, that life begins at conception or even as a sperm or a zygote or something. That's nuts. Real theocracy is wrong, but these folks don't even live up to the beliefs, their religion has to offer and just say some weird unorthodox (=immoral) crap instead.

  20. Thomas Jefferson is spinning so fast in his grave he has drilled all the way through his coffin and is currently burrowing through the Earth, digging away to parts unknown.

  21. Nothing wrong with this , I have little issue with Churches that are the center of some communities to be allowed to be political

  22. WARNING :::
    STOP FEDERAL FUNDING
    OF FAITH BASED INITIATIVES !
    ( $$ Holy Hogs At
    The Secular Trough $$)
    .
Federal Funds Should NOT Be Going To Finicky Catholic Hospitals And Catholic Lady Boy Sisters On The Bus .

  23. who you sleep with or slept with is none of my business unless I'm on that list, or a reasonable prospect to be on that list.

  24. Michael Tracey, who is having their "in private … sincerely held religious beliefs" infringed? Please stop justifying, however conditionally, this religious outreach into secular society.

  25. the guy in the middle comes across more intelligent in a competitive interaction with his collegeues but his own show is unwatchable.

  26. Does anyone think the groups that have multiple wives should be discriminated against? It happens today. What about a consensual sexual relationship between a 50 year old dad and 30 year old daughter? Does anyone think that is ok?

  27. Welp . Fellow atheist, and our other non christian brother and sister. It been a honor in existing with you .

  28. This is hardly a surprise. Pence was the vice-presidential pick as the down payment for the leading figures of the right wing Christian movement to deliver the politically unified block last November. Trump's order is the collect on delivery part. Politics as usual.

  29. This is why religious loonies voted for Trump. They are beaten intellectually so they are using government to get their way.

  30. While religion has a right to be recognised, people have a right to effectively discriminate if that's what their sky daddies want them to do (as opposed to showing love).

The question is, does it interfere with human rights?

LGBT people exist and have some scientific evidence as to cause even if it's not completely clear. In the case of the LGB, they aren't harming anybody, they're peer bonding with the for of people they like. For the 'T', we may not be 100% on the cause, but we know how to treat it… done.

Abortion is based, in simple terms, on when the 'baby' ceases to be a clump of cells with nothing more than basic feedback and is useful in certain situations although humans could do with not being slaves to their sexual desires so often.

If the respective sky daddy says no to something then you can't join… it's like a black Jew wanting to join the KKK.

  31. You can't be accepted on the young turks panel unless you are openly eager to mock the religious? I hope you're aware the bill applies to Imams too! And we all know muslim bakeries have no issues hiring homosexuals. If your religion views a certain practice as a sin, then you have the right to deny partakers of the sin from taking up leadership positions in your organization. TYT you don't ever make sense, and you make me sick.

  32. Well, sex is a biologically determinable fact. It's just more complicated than theocrats think and also doesn't mean what they think.

  33. I dont think its a big deal. Just because something is legal dose not mean everyone will jump on the bad wagon. Worst case scenario a gay person would get denied service and go else were.

  34. I'm Christian and I don't agree with the legislation but I don't like that people are grouping all Christians in one category.

  35. >Trump undermines Johnson-Amendment
    >Churches endorse political candidate
    >According to the tax code they lose their tax exemption
    >???
    >Profit

  36. How dare you discriminate against my religious right to discriminate! And people thought it was the Muslims they had to watch out for. Ha!

  37. Wtf doctors are suppose to CARE for the patient AS best to HIS/her ability no mater their belifes.

  38. Religious liberty = bullshit. We have laws and everyone is allowed to daydream, that's all.

  39. Michael, I'm sorry, but I think that religious freedoms are already well protected in the US. That bill is all about giving Christians more rights than others and allow them to shove their idiotic beliefs down people's throats.

  40. To support M. T. position, Muslims and Jewish persons should not be forced to eat bacon, and Christian's should not be forced to uphold the standards of Jesus.

  41. if you don't believe in abortion or birth control then how about you just not do those things…

  42. We need a tax on religious organizations rather than not tax them at all. Also these religious organizations should not be allowed to push their beliefs on public property. Tired of seeing people yelling religious hate at others, while all they are trying to do is have a nice day with their children.

  43. It's a shame that people with this closed minded belief get to run the country, but more Christians than not, in my experience, love ALL people and want to see everyone treated equally.

  44. NO, no, no, no laws about evangelical anything-maybe they get a say if they pay taxes-
but that is a big maybe, watch this one because this is a leech sucking out the blood of this country!!!!NO

  45. some religious freedoms are being infringed upon case in point the cake makers in New York that was sued for refusing to make a cake for a gay wedding

  46. What a real Ivan the terrible! He wants an order that DOESN'T force religious institutions to service non-traditional family types against their religion? He also wants to protect the lives of prenatal? AMORAL AND FIENDISH!

  47. Great, you Americans just had go pushing Christianity into a corner and this is the result. Now churches will poses political power -_- Do you know what other church gained political power after years of discrimination? ROME! Do you know what it did with its power!

  48. government and religion are and should stay separate for a reason! not everyone's religious! I'm a Christian and I think this is absurd! honestly this is taking 10 steps back.

  49. Unconstitutional due to the free exercise clause in the first amendment. Witch states it is your free liberty to exercise your religion but it can not be used to hurt anyone else or discriminate against anyone else. This law is so therefore it will get sent to court and will fall apart.

  50. OR… How about a seperation of church and health! After all if the retards had it their way we would still be drilling holes into every patient's head assuming the demons that are in them need a way out. What a bunch of goddamn retards!
