【東方Eurobeat ENG SUBS】FAITH【A-ONE】

Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, You can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. I can feel a change, a change in the wind I could change your heart, if you’d let me in Do you believe we’ll do incredible things Soar above all with incredible wings All I need is that you can give Faith, in the smallest amount Giving me your power where it counts I can make your greatest wish come true if you believe If you put a little faith in me I need every drop of what’s in your heart Once I bled you dry, that’s when we can start Do you believe we’ll do incredible things Soar above all with incredible wings All I need is that you can give Faith, in the smallest amount Giving me your power where it counts I can make your greatest wish come true if you believe If you put a little faith in me Faith, in the smallest amount Giving me your power where it counts I can make your greatest wish come true if you believe If you put a little faith in me

  1. Sounds so weak compared to their older arrangements, is DJ Command not a part of A-ONE anymore?

  2. "I was researching Kanako's character, and noticed she's very business-like with her approach to gathering new members to her faith. Though I don't see her as one of these, it reminded me of those awful televangelists who use Christianity as a blunt object instead of as a tool for doing good in the world. It was an interesting premise— what would a televangelist-like figure in Gensokyo say or do?" -T.Stebbins on his Discord server

  3. MORE T STEBBINS!
I love you shoop! thank you for fitting this into your most likely busy schedule!

  4. Am I the only getting some SOUND HOLIC vibes just before our boy Travis starts singing? I had to re-check the artist, no joke. Kinda expected Nana Takahashi after that tbh. Also, it's weird how the lyrics get somewhat dark. Change "faith" for "blood" and you could slap them into a Septette for a Dead Princess arrange.

Shouldn't it be "All I need is all that you can give" at around 1:25 and 2:25? I may be mishearing tho.

  5. someone who please explain to me why this song starts with a Bible verse if the one who says that text is the same travis and if causally they know which religion belongs?

  6. the idea of Kanako meeting Jesus Christ and getting comforted by him sounds epic, even if she is a sort of a rival to him.

  7. Also it would be a neat idea if the supreme God and Jesus Christ was the one behind the creation of Gensokyou as both the means to allow these gods and spiritual being to have a place of theire own, allow people to interact with them , and allow all the minor gods to posses a place they can govern ( specifically these gods that did get captured and saw theire followers persecuted and done no wrong other than being fake gods xD )

  8. Wow, isn`t this an older song of theirs, Odyssey and T. Stebbins?
It feels so, how do you say that, lackluster? It isn`t bad or i don`t dislike it, i like it a lot lot less and not at all.
But it definitely is not as good as their older songs.
It sounds weak and not as energetic as the others, it feels like it`s just there.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

  10. Is there a version of this that doesn't have the intro with the guy talking? Imo that synthesized voice sounds cringey and awful in the beginning.

  11. It's quite interesting if you compare this song to Loud Faith (another A-One eurobeat but featuring Kyouko!).
Kanako is more on grabbing people's faith like she runs the business, giving a manifesto promising every one of her followers.
While Kyouko is more welcoming and an active disciple to her religion, she's fine if you won't participate.

Moral to all religion (I hope that's the case), be like Kyouko.

  12. …and you have single-handedly brought back my faith in the Eurobeat genre, so congrats, mission accomplished!

  13. Y'know what? This feels like the Red Zone, except the Archdeacon from the Hunchback of Notre Dame got to help.

  14. Because you have so little faith.

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed,

You can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move.

Nothing will be impossible for you.

I can feel a change, a change in the wind

I could change your heart, if you let me in

Do you believe we'll do incredible things

Soar above all with incredible wings

All I need is all that you can give

    Faith, in the smallest amount

Giving me your power where it counts

I can make your greatest wish come true if you believe

If you put a little faith in me

I need every drop of what's in your heart

Once I've bled you dry, that's when we can start

Do you believe we'll do incredible things

Soar above all with incredible wings

All I need is all that you can give

    Faith, in the smallest amount

Giving me your power where it counts

I can make your greatest wish come true if you believe

If you put a little faith in me

    Faith, in the smallest amount

Giving me your power where it counts

I can make your greatest wish come true if you believe

If you put a little faith in me

  15. I understand that absolutely no one wants to hear this. However, I am prepared to face the consequences.
Ahem… Dammit! A-one, why the Hell would you use a Bible verse for a song that represents something that contradicts Christian teachings? It's a sacred text! You wouldn't quote the Quran for a song that goes against Allah, would you? Have some respect!

…Okay, I'm done. Just had to get it out of my system.

  16. I’ve always thought that Christianity and Touhou would be an interesting mix. I mean, the theology and metaphysics of Touhou’s Shintoism and Christianity are so diametrically opposed that seeing them interact in the same fantasy setting would be really fun to watch. One religion explores how millions of deities exist within different facets of nature while the other explores how a singular central, all-powerful deity has complete dominion over, yet transcends the whole of nature. Where would Jesus/YHWH sit in Touhou’s cosmology? Would He be like the Shinto gods who require faith to operate? If so, wouldn’t He be the strongest deity considering how Christianity is the world’s largest religion? Or would His existence not be dependent on the faith of humans? Being the “King of Kings,” would He be totally beyond the existence of any Earthly, Hellish, or Lunarian god? Would He be the leader of the Ministry of Right-and-Wrong? Speculation is fun! I know that Touhou is meant to highlight the east and Christianity has historically been western, so the chances of ZUN introducing a Christian religiopolitical force is unlikely. But perhaps less “westernized” forms of Christianity, such as the Eastern Orthodoxy or Oriental Catholics could find a comfortable home in Touhou. It probably won’t ever happen officially, but its just a thought. At least we have The Last Comer.

  17. Does A-one have a downloadable store? I want to buy "THE BEST OF TOHO EUROBEAT 2014-2015" in a digital format, but they don't have a booth.pm.
